Hey guys!
So my life has been a whirlwind of ridiculousness over the last month, and it's probably going to be just as crazy until early December rolls around. For one thing, I started my student teaching--which is cool, except that I don't get paid for it. That's right, I do all the work of a teacher and get NONE OF THE MONEY and it's totally legal because I'm technically a "student." HAH! On the plus side, come December, I should have my Master's of Education, and I can find a real, salaried job with things like BENEFITS!
I also moved in with my boyfriend of over a year (!!!) and have been trying to settle in. The house is still full of boxes, but I'm chipping away at them slowly. Most of my art supplies are still packed, but I'll find them someday! I also need to go get my car inspected tomorrow so I can register it in Maryland...and I'm not going to lie, I'm worried. It's a 130-point, 90-minute inspection. On a car that has 175,000 miles on it. I passed my Virginia inspection just fine back in March, but I feel like they're probably going to find at least one thing wrong tomorrow. My only hope is that it's not expensive to fix. Remember that whole not-getting-paid thing? Yeah. Scary times.
The point being that, while I still check the dA daily, odds are that updates are going to be extremely infrequent on my end until the student teaching experience is done. And then...well, we shall see
